Can I request an art commission?

YES!

  • This process can take 2-4 weeks to 2-4 months depending on the complexity of the project and the current workload happening for BCS.

  • Progress on some projects are streamed on Twitch www.twitch.tv/badcarrotstudios

  • Full color commissions can Start at $300 and are subject to change based on the complexity, deadline, and medium (print vs high-resolution digital delivery)

A sketch will be sent first to clarify your idea (limit 3 re-draws/revisions). Physical copies can be professionally printed on standard sized heavy card stock.

Great things to send and have in mind!

  • Reference (written or drawn!)

  • Any pictures of the character/person/creature/weapon/concept you are requesting

  • An idea of who the character/person looks like EX: "I have this D&D wizard that looks just like Axel from Kingdom Hearts!"

  • An idea of what they would be wearing or a pose EX: "I was thinking this gown attach/send jpg of fashion gown and something close to this pose attach send image of x-games snowboarding"

For Color:

  • Basic Stats are good! Things like Eye/hair color, skin tones, color themes (earthy colors = warm browns, greens, and soft yellows) ect.

  • BACKGROUNDS! A forest? Ruins? Underwater? Outer space? A basic color and texture?

If a standard sized print, such as: 8x10 or 11x14, is requested (along with the high-resolution digital download) it will be sent in a clear art sleeve and will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail in a stiff photo mailing envelope. No extra cost for shipping in the continental US. For all other shipping, terms and fees can be negotiated in the contract and must be agreed upon before the commission work commences.

If you do not want to bother with shipping I can send you a high-resolution (300 DPI) image file. You can print out your image however you like as many times as you need.

Can I use one of your designs as a Tattoo?

Yes! So long as it is for personal use, you may purchase a Tattoo Ticket (located in the Shop, under the "Tattoo" filter).

Choose any pre-existing design (this is not for commissions) that is featured in the shop!

Let me know the image you want (by its listing title or SKU code) in the customization section during the checkout process and then you will be sent a thank you card in one email and your requested image in another. The "Thank You" card email is automated, the requested image email is not.

  • Sent as a 300 dpi, high resolution file

  • You may choose the Color image or just the Line art (on applicable images)

  • Size will remain as described in the image's original listing post

I do not permit my designs to be used in publications (such as tattoo books or portfolios), or in an artist’s tattoo flash without my consent. If you are a tattoo artist, please do not claim my design as your own.

What are your shipping policies & times?
  • There are typically 3-5 days processing time before shipping an item (or items). USPS options are available for domestic and international shipping upon check out. Orders over $30 USD in the continental United States are eligible for free shipping.

  • Domestic United States shipping is USPS's Ground Advantage with an average shipping speed of 2-5 days, depending on the distance.

  • International Shipping is with USPS First class Package International with an average shipping speed of 1-4 weeks, depending on the destination.

  • All shipping rates are subject to change and follow the average market prices.

  • There is no shipping or shipping fees with digital products.

  • Should you need an item quickly, please contact us and we will do our best to work with you!

Taxes?
  • The average tax rate locally is 6%. This is applied to all items purchased, even digital ones.

  • For in-person events, the tax rate may change depending on the location to abide by local tax laws.

How are items shipped?

Printed items and stickers are packaged in clear protective sleeves and then shipped in appropriate sized ridged envelopes. A receipt will be included.

What is your return/refund policy?
  • All sales final and no returns.

What are the available payment methods:
  • At the moment, STRIPE is used and can accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Wallet, and more.
